The Library offers a variety of public spaces for users to study and work - options and availability vary throughout the year.

Open Space (first come, first served)

  • Public Table Seating - this area is intended for quiet shared public use. Patrons who need to videoconference need to reserve a Room pod (see below).
  • Public Reading Area - this area is intended for quiet shared public use.
  • Library Lab - this area has limited availability and is only available for silent shared public use. It is available when the room is not reserved for a program or meeting. More information about the schedule can be requested

Bookable Spaces (call or visit the library to reserve)

  • 2 Individual Room pods (see image) - available year-round
  • Shared study space (up to three users) - available July & August

Users may occupy a bookable space for a maximum of 2 hours per session, at a rate of 1 session per day. Spaces close 30 minutes before the Library closes.

Reservations can be made in advance by calling or visiting the Library. Walk in access may be available if no other patrons are waiting. Those walking in will still be required to make a reservation. Organized groups seeking a space to meet must submit a request for a meeting room via the Library’s Use of  Facility form. Study spaces are not intended for group meetings.
