About this event

Body

New Jersey was the ‘Crossroads of the American Revolution’; the site of more fighting than any other state, including the war’s most important victory: Washington Crossing the Delaware and the ensuing Battle of Trenton. We will discuss New  Jersey's critical role in the War for Independence as well as examine the impact of these events on the enslaved, women, and other groups grappling with the ideas of 'independence.'
