The Library StoryWalk® will feature Outside In, written by Deborah Underwood and illustrated by Cindy Derby. A 2021 Caldecott Honor Book, Outside In is a thoughtful book about the many ways nature affects our everyday lives, even when we're stuck inside. Enjoy this “outside” experience from the Avalon Library! The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. The Storywalk® is located near the playground at the Avalon Elementary School field.
