History Center Kids' Event: Scouts, Spies, Soldiers at 39th St., Tennis Building
Presented by Liberty Hall Museum. Suggested for ages 8-12. During the American Revolution, Washington’s network of spies were responsible for obtaining information that would change the course of the war. Students will learn secret codes and methods used by Revolutionary era spy networks, make a secret codebook, and will discover how secret messages conveyed by a spy network changed the course of the American Revolution. Registration is required, Avalon property owners may register beginning June 7, all others starting June 23. Walk ins may be welcome if registration doesn't fill.
