Crafty Wednesdays: Artist Trading Cards for Kids

Have you ever heard of artist trading cards? Kids are invited to join Miss Paige to create their very own masterpieces to share with friends. Using small pieces of paper, create little pieces of art to trade with friends, give as gifts, or keep yourself.   Collage, watercolors, stamping, color pencils, the options are endless.

Select supplies for this craft will be available for pick up from the library starting the previous Friday (July 16) while supplies last. But don’t forget, part of the fun of crafty Wednesdays is getting creative – follow along with Miss Paige using whatever supplies you have on hand!

Supplies from the Library:

• watercolor paper (2 ½ by 3 ½)          
• tissue paper    
• watercolors & brush  

You'll also need:

• Markers, crayons, OR colored pencils

Extra supplies that might be fun, but they aren't required!

• colored pencils
• stamps
• collage supplies (cut out pieces from old magazines or wrapping paper)
