Every spring at the shore our beaches get visited by a living fossil- the Horseshoe Crab! At this presentation, you will learn all about the crabs, discuss why so many animals rely on them to survive (including humans) and why we see so many on our local beaches. This event is a collaboration between the Avalon Environmental Commission and the Avalon Free Public Library and being held at Surfside Park, 2901 Avalon Avenue. In inclement weather, the lecture will be held inside adjacent Community Hall.
