Search a full collection of high quality databases, provided by the New Jersey State Library, which cover subjects such as health, history, business, education, science, current events, literature, and popular fiction. The suite also includes Informe, our Spanish language full-text database. If you have Internet access you can search for high quality Internet age information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

EBSCOHost Web

EBSCOhost includes an encyclopedia, thousands of magazine and journal articles, education resources, grade-level specific materials for schoolchildren, medical information and much, much more, EBSCOhost is very often the only database you need. EBSCO provides cloud-storage for your bookmarked articles, and allows you to email articles in addition to printing.

 

Searchasaurus

For elementary school students - Here is a great way of searching for magazine articles and books on many topics. There are over 80 popular full-text  elementary school magazines in the database. Searchasaurus will also look for articles  in Funk & Wagnall’s New World Encyclopedia, American Heritage Children’s Dictionary and Encyclopedia of Animals. There are thousands of photos, maps, flags and more.  Parents / Teachers - Lexile reading levels are assigned to full-text articles.
