Novelist Plus (Fiction and Non-fiction) is a unique fiction and non-fiction database. Its purpose is to help you find new fiction and non-fiction by comparing books you have already read and enjoyed. Novelist Plus also provides study guides, reading level appropriate material, book group discussion questions, author websites, book reviews, and more!
SJRLC Audiobook and Ebook Downloads
*After logging in, click the "Home" tab in the upper left screen for the traditional view.
Select from hundreds of fiction and nonfiction titles and listen to audiobooks either on your computer or download to your Windows Media compatible MP3 player (*audiobook downloads are not compatible with Apple computers or with IPod players). Some titles can be burned to compact disc.
Ebooks are also available to borrow for your Nook, Sony Reader, Pandigital Reader, Kobo or Mobipocket reader.

Informé is a Spanish language database incorporating a Thesaurus and articles from popular Spanish language magazines. It is accessible from outside the library with your library card.

Health Source--Consumer Edition Health Source®: Consumer Edition is a rich collection of consumer health information. This resource provides access to nearly 80 full-text, consumer health magazines, including American Fitness, Better Nutrition, Fit Pregnancy, Harvard Health Letter, Men's Health, Muscle & Fitness, Prevention, Vegetarian Times, and many others. Logging Into Music Online

1. In the center of the screen where it says Library Credentials, click on the pull down menu for Institutions and select "Avalon Free Public Library".
2. Type in the number that is on the back of your library card in the box labeled Library Card Number. Click on Login.
