Prices4Antiques Reference is a price guide database for antiques and collectibles. It combines sale information from a number of highly-regarded auction houses to establish fair and accurate market prices on antiques and collectibles of all kinds. Auto Repair Reference Center
The Auto Repair Reference Center database includes automotive repair information supplied by Point 5 Technologies, Inc., under license from Nichols Publishing, the former publisher of Chilton® Information and information from Delphi Integrated Service Solutions. Auto Repair Reference Center contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles, with repair information for most vintage makes starting as far back as 1945.
Content includes over 205,000 drawings and step-by-step photos, aprox. 75,000 technical service bulletins and recalls, over 130,000 wiring diagrams, specifications and maintenance schedules, Labor Time Guide and Estimator.

Books
Books In Print is large database of books that are currently in print. It includes publication information, reviews, and excerpts.
Literary Reference Center Allows you to search for literature articles, book reviews, literary cricism, speeches, and bibliographies.
Novelist is a unique fiction database. Its purpose is to help you find new fiction by comparing novels you have already read and enjoyed.
SJRLC Audiobook Downloads Select from hundreds of fiction and nonfiction titles and listen to audiobooks either on your computer or download to your Windows Media compatible MP3 player (*audiobook downloads are not compatible with Apple computers or with IPod players). Some titles can be burned to compact disc.

Informé is a Spanish language database incorporating a Thesaurus and articles from popular Spanish language magazines. It is accessible from outside the library with your library card.

Home Improvement Reference Center Home Improvement Reference Center™ is the definitive online tool for home improvement assistance, including: maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, wood projects, outdoor improvements, decorating home & garden, etc. This comprehensive resource contains 26 major reference works in full text with more than 10,000 images (none found available online anywhere else). Additionally, the database contains full-text magazines (e.g. This Old House). Remote access is available for library patrons for use from home.
Small Engine Repair Reference Center Small Engine Repair Reference Center™ is the definitive online tool for small engine repair assistance, including: ATVs, commercial mowers, farm tractors, generators, motorcycles, marine (boats), outdoor power equipment, PWC (personal watercraft/jet ski), snowblowers, snowmobiles, tillers and other small engines. This comprehensive resource contains 407 reference books in full text with original photos and illustrations that guide the user through every job. The database often contains more than 25 years of an engine model, and offers assistance in providing routine maintenance, such as tune-ups and brake service, as well as extensive repairs involving engine and transmission disassembly. Also, the database allows users to select a type of product, specific brand, specific model/engine type, and specific area of that model/engine type. Additionally, model numbers will also be searchable.
Finance & Money
Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage is a comprehensive financial database from Standard & Poor's. It incorporates stock reports, bond reports, mutual fund reports, company profiles, financial news, and investment advice. Access is available only from inside the library.
Fine Arts
African American Song Database With jazz, blues, gospel, and other forms of African American musical expression represented, African American Song brings 50,000 tracks of music to the ears of library patrons and music scholars. It’s the first online resource to document the history of African American music in the form of an online music listening service. Users search using a powerful interface, identify the music and performances they want to hear, and click to listen through speakers or headphones.
Classical Music Library is an ever-growing, fully searchable classical music resource—a comprehensive database of distinguished classical recordings. It includes tens of thousands of licensed recordings that users can listen to on the Internet. The audio selections are cross-referenced to a database of supplementary reference information. Contemporary Authors is an extensive database of biographical and bibliographic information about authors. It is accessible from outside the library with your library card.
Custom Newspapers contains full-text articles from the New York Times and many other national and international newspapers. It is accessible from outside the library with your library card.
EBSCOhost Web is a broad, multidisciplinary research database. Tumble Readables
Allows beginning readers to easily read along, following clear and simple sentences. 125 Read-Along titles (and an additional 100 large print online titles): picture books, early readers, chapter books, middle school readers, YA/teen novels, children's classics and Shakespeare.
Tumblebooks is an online collection of animated, talking picturebooks, reading comprehension quizzes, educational games, and teacher resources. Children will love the format. Stories are available in French, Spanish, Chinese, and English.

Language
Foreign Service Institute Language Courses Free audio language courses provided by the Foreign Service Institute. 27 languages to choose from, including Portuguese, Arabic, Swedish, Swahili and more. Listen to chapters using Windows Media Player and follow along in the text provided on the FSI Language website.
Rosetta Stone Online Language Learning Center
offers online study of 30 different languages. Just click "Register" at the welcome screen and enter your library card number. From here you will be prompted to create your own username and password. 9/25/07 - Contacting the Rosetta Stone offices to explore ways to make more languages available, I was told that Rosetta Stone would no longer offer an option for remote access. Instead they would, at the end of our subscription (Sept, 2008), make us an offer that would allow us to use these resource in-house only. In other words, you would have to come to the library to use it. Remote access is a key determinant in our decision to purchase a resource like Rosetta Stone. It is doubtful that we will renew our subscription after Sept. 2008. If you have any concerns or comments, please contact us (click here).
