In this class, instructor Cathy Zane will review Apple-supplied apps. iTunes, iBooks, App Store, Podcasts, TV, and a few others. Be sure you have your Apple ID and password. History Center
Landscape architect Scott Taylor, who designed many of Avalon's public and community space, will talk about the planning for and construction of: Veterans Plaza, the September 11th Memorial, and the 39th street playground/park, as well as the revitalization of the downtown business district. He also will announce a new, exciting recreation initiative coming soon to Avalon!
Art Room
With art instructor Michele Pascuillo- Create a unique piece of wearable art with bits of tile, glass, beads and other interesting materials. The first day of this two-session class is planning and gluing (Monday, April 3). The second class is grouting and finishing (Tuesday, April 4).
